Heide Jackson, Ph.D.

Heide Jackson joined the MPRC team in August 2019. She was previously a demographer with the Health and Disability Statistics Branch at the U.S. Census Bureau. Her research interests pertain to interests in health over the life course, measurement of sensitive reproductive health topics, as well as the role of missing data in shaping our understanding of health and health trajectories. Heide obtained her Phd in Sociology and Masters in Population Health Sciences from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.

Katharine Abraham, Ph.D.

Katharine G. Abraham is Professor of Economics and Survey Methodology. Her published research includes papers on the work and retirement decisions of older Americans; how government policies affect employers’ choices concerning employment and hours over the business cycle; the effects of financial aid on the decision to attend college; discrepancies in alternative measures of employment, wages and hours; and the measurement of economic activity.
