MPRC Special Workshop: Health and Family Formation Across Two Generations in Future of Families Study

About the Presentation

The Future of Families Generation 3 study is enrolling children of the original 1998-2000 Future of Families and Child Wellbeing birth cohort and collecting data on the circumstances surrounding their births. This first part of the presentation will compare the health of mothers and children across two generations. Despite indicators suggesting that the more recent generations of mothers and infants should be better off, they appear to be worse off. The second part of the presentation will describe the study design and data structure.
