Liana Sayer Receives 2026 Ellen Galinsky Generative Researcher Award
Faculty Associate Liana Sayer has received the 2026 Ellen Galinsky Generative Researcher Award from the Work and Family Researchers Network, alongside collaborators Sarah Flood and Melissa Milkie, for their leadership of the IPUMS Time Use project.
The award recognizes researchers whose work has advanced the study of work and family through innovative theory, data, and open science. The award committee highlighted Sayer's pioneering research on gender and social class inequalities in time use across the life course, as well as her contributions to expanding access to high-quality time diary data for researchers around the world through IPUMS Time Use.
