Leadership and Coordination

Working with MPRC's Executive Committee, the Director and Associate Director set the vision of the center and manage relationships among university stakeholders and our population research faculty. The Admin Core provides a suite of services designed to support researchers with guidance on proposal development and post-award project management. Core staff provide logistical and administrative support for all Center activities.

Information Systems

Information Systems personnel support Faculty Associate research and dissemination by providing expertise in the areas of information management, web design, and other areas as applied to the research enterprise.

Mentorship, research support, collaboration

The Development Core promulgates population research by providing mentorship and support for early-career population scientists. Core personnel manage the MPRC Seed Grant program, organize regular seminars and workshops, and provide hands-on mentorship for scholars preparing proposals for submission.

Computational resources, technical support and training, secure data access

The Scientific and Technical Core provides MPRC Associates with the computational resources and technical support to do cutting-edge population research. This includes onsite and offsite (remote) computing for MPRC researchers; access to specialized software; network storage and virtualized environments; web servers and web applications for researchers and staff; and consultation or training in statistical programming.
